Honey Benefits

Honey has been touted as a highly regarded medicinal cure for thousands of years. It can be used in cooking, beauty treatments, and as a healer. Having this on hand is a smart idea, given the number of things you can use it for.

It takes 60,000 bees visiting over a million flowers to produce one pound of honey. There are over forty different varieties. Examples are: wildflower, blueberry, buckwheat, clover, and manuka. It is important to buy it raw and pure. Raw honey contains all of the vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. The darker the honey, the more antioxidants it has. It is unsafe to feed infants honey, as it can sometimes contain bacteria that would be harmful for them. So, please do not give infants honey.
